We have chosen to participate in a Gingerbread Man Exchange. 

MAIN OBJECTIVE:
To learn about other states by participating in a Gingerbread Exchange.

We have teamed up with 35 classrooms across the United States. Our class made 35 Gingerbread Men. On the front, we decorated the Ginger Man anyway we wanted. On the back, we decorated the Ginger Man with symbols of Virginia. The symbols we chose were: an outline of our state, the dogwood flower, cardinal bird, the tiger swallowtail butterfly and the Virginia flag. Ms. Winston mailed our Ginger Men on Friday, December 4th.
