Correction Procedure
1st Offense-Verbal warning.
Student will model appropriate behavior.
2nd Offense-Student will model appropriate behavior. Student will Refocus and complete a Think Sheet. Student behavior conference will be held during recess.

Think Sheets must be signed by a parent and returned the next day.

3 Think Sheets= Parent Conference
5 Think Sheets per Quarter= Referral
Major Infractions
Major Disrespect or Disruptions
Major Defiance
Fighting (hitting, kicking, spitting, throwing)
Destruction of Property
Profanity
Stealing
Other Severe Behaviors
Correction Procedure
Students who commit major infractions will be asked to identify the inappropriate behavior and describe replacement behavior. A referral will be written up and turned in to the office. Administration will determine corrective action which may include a parent conference, loss of privileges, suspension, counselor referral or other corrective action.
We have a pocket chart in the classroom. Each student has a number. Behind each number is five cards numbered 100, 90, 80, 70, 60. At the end of each day I will write the student's behavior grade for the day. The grade will be averaged at the end of the quarter and will be listed on the report card.
